A) Homeowner quote request form

For homeowners

Your personal information (first name, last name, address, email, phone, project description and photos) is collected for the purpose of connecting you with qualified contractors. This information is shared with a maximum of 3 RBQ-certified contractors who purchase access to your request through the Platform. Each contractor who accesses your request agrees to contact you solely for the purpose of providing a quote.

For contractors

Your profile information is used to verify your eligibility for the Platform, manage your account, process payments, and allow you to access quote requests in your service areas.

What we do NOT do

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. No disclosure is made for advertising or commercial purposes other than those described in this policy.

Your personal information is stored on Supabase's secure infrastructure (hosted on Amazon Web Services, servers located in North America). All communications between your browser and our servers are encrypted using the TLS/HTTPS protocol. Access to personal information is restricted to authorized personnel only. Appropriate technical and organizational measures are in place to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or disclosure.

Homeowners' personal information is retained for a maximum of 24 months following the submission date of their request. Contractors' information is retained for as long as their account is active, plus 12 additional months following account deactivation. Upon expiry of these periods, data is securely deleted. You may request early deletion of your data at any time (see section 6).

Under Quebec's Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector (Law 25), you have the following rights:

• Right of access: obtain a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Right of rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected.
• Right to withdraw consent: withdraw your consent to the collection or use of your information at any time.
• Right to erasure: request the deletion of your personal information from our systems.
• Right to be informed: be notified of any privacy breach likely to cause you serious harm.
• Right to portability: receive your information in a structured, commonly used technological format.

This privacy policy is established in compliance with Quebec's Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector (Law 25, CQLR, chapter P-39.1), whose provisions applicable to private enterprises have been in force since September 22, 2023. We are committed to keeping this policy current and informing you of any significant changes.

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. In the event of a significant change, a notice will be posted on the Platform. The date of the last update appears at the top of this document. By continuing to use the Platform after any change, you accept the revised policy.
